Once we receive your order and artwork file, our pre-flight software will scan for potential errors. However, please note that we do not perform artwork checks before an order is placed.
Pre-Flight Check Areas: #
- Artwork Size vs. Order Size – Ensuring dimensions match the selected product size.
- Spot UV Limitations – Verifying that Spot UV areas are correctly applied.
- Hot Stamping Limitations – Checking safe zones, font sizes, line thickness, complexity, and ensuring JPEG files are not used.
- Spot UV Areas Filled with K100 – Making sure Spot UV elements are in 100% black (K100).
- Overprint Issues – Detecting unintended overprint settings.
- Outlined Fonts – Ensuring all fonts are converted to outlines to prevent missing fonts.
- Folding Errors – Confirming that folding/creasing lines align properly with the artwork.
- CMYK Color Mode – Verifying the file is in CMYK for accurate printing.
- Image Resolution – Ensuring images meet the required resolution for high-quality output.
If any issues are found, your order will be placed on hold, and we will notify you. You can then correct the errors and resend your files for processing.
